FM Zarif felicitates General Soleimani on receiving highest military order
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif extended greetings to Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Qassem Soleimani, after the Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei awarded the highest military order of Iran to the commander.
In a Monday message, Zarif ‘sincerely’ congratulated the senior IRGC commander over receiving Iran’s highest military order.
Zarif noted that efforts of Major General Soleimani in fight against Takfiri terrorism has paved the way for establishing a ‘stabilized’ region.
Self-confidence and resistance of nations combined with political tact of all regional countries’ can lead to making a better future for the suffered people of the region, he added.
General Soleimani is the first Iranian military official to receive the Order of Zulfaqar after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
