US-backed militia occupy villagers' farms in Northeastern Syria
The US-backed so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) broke into residential units in Syria’s Western Raqqa rural areas and forced the villagers to leave their farms in an apparent effort to widen the bases in the region.
The SDF stormed the farms near the village of Abu Qabih in Western Raqqa and forced the owners and their family members to leave their properties.
Local sources said that the SDF has turned the farms into bases and command posts.
According to FNA, the sources said that the SDF has thus far occupied many farms, lands and houses of the people under different pretexts in the region.
Other sources reported that the SDF again arrested a number of young men in the town of Tal Abyadh under a forced recruitment plan.
A wave of tensions has covered the region following the SDF's continued hostile measures.
