Welcome to this week’s episode of the series Mohammad, Radiant Sun of Guidance.

Part of the political tradition of Prophet of Islam, Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny) is related to the establishment of a just political ruling system. Today, we become more familiar with this topic of importance.

In the continuation of divine prophets’ political tradition, Prophet Mohammad also aimed to establish a just political ruling system. Based on divine instructions, the Prophet of Islam stood against tyrannical ruling systems which neglected human, social, and ethical boundaries.

The 36th ayah of Surat al-Nahl in Holy Quran notes:  “Certainly We raised an apostle in every nation to preach: ‘Worship Allah, and keep away from the Rebels.”

In accordance to history, a group has always listened to the guidelines of prophets and has joined their front, while another group, which has been fearful of powers and has aimed to fulfill its interests, has collaborated with tyrannical regimes, making strenuous efforts to cement tyrannical ruling systems. Holy Quran instructs the monotheists who have accepted the divine rule to fearlessly stand up against tyrannical regimes.

The 76th ayah of Surat al-Nisa notes: “Those who have faith fight in the way of Allah, and those who are faithless fight in the way of the Rebel. So fight the friends of Satan; indeed the stratagems of Satan are always flimsy.”

In the political tradition of the Prophet of Islam, struggle against satanic systems is the duty of every Muslim, and every Muslim should stand up against anti-religious regimes.

The 113th ayah of Surat Hud in Holy Quran notes: “And do not incline toward the wrongdoers, lest the Fire should touch you, and you will not have any friends besides Allah, then you will not be helped.”

One of the clear examples of the Word of God in the contemporary era is Aale Saud and Arab reactionary regimes that instead of defending oppressed nations, collaborate with the Global Arrogance and Zionism, who aim to destroy Islam.

Undoubtedly, if they turn their backs on the World of Islam and show inclination toward Global Arrogance and oppressive rulers, in order to maintain their interests and reinforce their status, they have certainly derailed from the righteous path of Islam. This is because based on the political tradition of the Prophet of Islam; he always confronted the leading polytheists and disbelievers and never condoned his divine and human goals and ideals.

In the first ayah of Surat al-Mumtahanah, God notes: O you who have faith! Do not take My enemy and your enemy for friends…”

However, some, in contrast to this divine instruction and warning, nourish affection for the enemies. Hence, in the said ayah, God notes: “You secretly nourish affection for them, while I know well whatever you hide and whatever you disclose, and whoever among you does that has certainly strayed from the right way.”

Holy Quran, in order to clarify the reason and philosophy behind the divine warning, notes: “If they were to confront you they would be your enemies and would stretch out against you their hands and their tongues with evil intentions, and they are eager that you should be faithless.”

In addition to the age-old hostilities of the West and Zionism against Islam and Muslims, a clear example of this fact is the military presence of Europe, and the US, and their provocations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Syria, and other Islamic lands. They insult Muslims, and baselessly accuse them of terrorism and violation of human rights. Meanwhile, these Western regimes ironically fully support terrorists and slaughter thousands of innocent people.

In accordance to Holy Quran, these regimes aim to destroy Islam and push Muslims toward disbelief.

Holy Quran aims to show that the political and ideological tradition of the Prophet of God in the battle against leading disbelievers is the same path that the flag-bearer of monotheism, Prophet Abraham founded.

The 68th ayah of Surat Al-I’Imran notes: “Indeed the nearest of all people to Abraham are those who follow him, and this prophet and those who have faith, and Allah is the guardian of the faithful.”

Holy Quran elaborates on the tradition of Prophet Abraham against disbelievers and polytheists.

The 4th ayah of Surat al-Mumtahanah of Holy Quran notes: “There is certainly a good exemplar for you in Abraham and those who were with him, when they said to their own people, ‘Indeed we repudiate you and whatever you worship besides Allah. We disavow you, and between you and us there has appeared enmity and hate forever, unless you come to have faith in Allah alone,’…”

Thus, the divine religion of Islam cannot compromise with disbelievers and cannot remain silent in the face of their crimes.
