  • 33rd International Islamic Unity Conference kicks off in Tehran

Iran is hosting the 33rd International Islamic Unity Conference marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny).

According to Press TV, the event will be held in Tehran on November 14-16 with the participation of 350 personalities from 93 countries.

The conference, which is themed “Ummah Unity in Defending the al-Aqsa Mosque,” started with a speech by Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani.

The International Islamic Unity Conference is held annually in an effort to lay the ground for stronger unity and solidarity among Muslims and provide solutions for their problems.
