Iran condemns bomb attack targeting Syrian servicemen
Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned the terrorist bomb attack that has killed at least 14 Syrian military personnel in Damascus.
According to Tasnim News Agency, in a statement on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh strongly condemned the “blind and cowardly terrorist” attack on the Syrian military personnel.
Expressing sympathy with the Syrian government, nation and families of the victims, the spokesman said such terrorist measures are doomed to failure.
They will definitely fail to undermine the resolve of the Syrian government and people in the fight against terrorism, in liberating the occupied territories, and in ensuring stability in their country, he stressed.
The terrorist bomb attack on a bus carrying troops in Damascus has killed at least 14 military personnel and wounded three others early on Wednesday.
Two explosive devices went off as the bus was near the Hafez al-Assad bridge, as a third device was defused by an army engineering unit in what officials said was a “terrorist” blast.
