Iran's foreign minister renews allegiance with Imam Khomeini
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the Foreign Ministry’s staffers attended the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him) on Friday in southern Tehran to renew their allegiance to the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him) passed away on June 3, 1989. Millions of people took part in his burial ceremony. Imam Khomeini led the Islamic Revolution against the Pahlavi regime.
