Today is the 3rd of the sacred month of Rajab on which was poisoned to martyrdom in the Iraqi city of Samarra in the year 254 AH (corresponding to 868 AD), Imam Ali an-Naqi al-Hadi (PBUH), the 10th Infallible Heir of Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny).
