Among the most important effects of the blessed month of Ramazan is the spiritual calm. Fasting, especially in Ramazan, causes calm for a person in two ways. Firstly, it helps him to be patient. Secondly, fasting is a kind of practical remembrance of God and as the noble Qur’an says God’s remembrance is the only source of calm.
